Mt Deming is always one of the Nightcat’s favorite festivals to play – Festival director Lloyd Peterson works all year to book just the right bands. He has an unerring knack for achieving the perfect, eclectic balance of every kind of blues, and blues-related music you can think of! And all the performers have one thing they have in common – They all kick ass!!!
This will be a huge event. We’re happy and proud to be a part of it! Check out the website: www.folsomfest.com – Also, we love it when we can be this close for our home town fans – This will be our last show in the area for awhile – After this, we’ll be heading out on a long US tour, so catch us while you can!
This is a great and rare event – It’s a blues festival with a sort of intimate, concert series format. The Tallman Hotel in Upper Lake is a first rate boutique-style hotel that features live music all year. Once a year on Labor Day weekend, they hold this special event – The Blue Wing Blues Festival. Opening our show on Sunday will be Bernie Pearl of Ash Grove fame. Bernie learned his blues directly from the masters like Lightnin’ Hopkins and Mississippi Fred McDowell, so don’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to catch one of the last living links to the old-time Texas and Delta blues along with (none other than) us!!!
Note to all our Chicagoland peeps: This is as close as we’ve been to Chicago in a while and it may be as close as we’ll be getting for a while.
If you’re wondering about the name (I know I did), check this:

We haven’t been to Quebec in several years and we’re definitely excited about this show! Here’s what they have to say: This large blues music event features more than 20 acoustic and electrical performances. Artists from Europe, the United States, the Maritimes, Ontario and, naturally, Québec, will light up four stages.
It’s been too long since we’ve hit the east coast, so we’re real happy to be coming back! Here’s what WMB’n’B has to say about themselves: “The blues festival is held in the heart of the White Mountain and the boogie stage is in a natural amphitheater located on a 72 acre pasture in the Pemigewasset River Valley, located in the White Mountains Region of New Hampshire with beautiful New England scenery.
On the festival stage, The Boogie is in between Waterville Valley and Loon Mountain (Lincoln) NH. Home to blues skies, incredible mountain views and a variety of outdoor recreational possibilities.
Offering easy access to Interstate I-93, local lodging and convenience shopping boogie guests are within easy reach of any accommodations they may need.
The festival is a special treat for newcomers and a summer favorite for returning guests. We encourage you to join us we’re sure you will be happy you did!”
