This is a great venue! It’s been quite a while since we’ve been here and we’re real happy to be coming back!
We hope all our Mendocino people when we show up! If you’re not hip to the Arena Theater, here y’ go:
Arena Theater is a 1928-vintage vaudeville theater and film palace, restored in 1996 to an Art Deco style, state-of-the-art entertainment venue with generous support from local artisans and financial donations.
Arena Theater Association is an all-volunteer community, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that maintains Arena Theater and brings live performances and artists to the stage of this Mendocino Coast venue.
Situated on Highway One in downtown Point Arena, California’s smallest city, Arena Theater operates every day of the year. The anchor of the theater is the Arena Cinema, which shows first run movies.
We love a good casino gig, and this is a new one for us. Casinos are generally great gigs – We get to play, eat and sleep under the same roof and Kid usually wins some $$$!!! The Avi has this new Blues On The River series going and we’ll be the featured act on June 25th! We hope you can make it too!
Friday night February 26th – We’ll be back in Phoenix at Bob Coritorre’s legendary Rhythm Room. Here’s how they describe themselves:
The Rhythm Room Roots, Blues & Concert Club in Phoenix, Arizona is a live music venue hosting local and national acts on a nightly basis. We opened in 1991 and celebrated our 20th anniversary in 2011. We’ve got live music with the best customers around! And the staff ain’t half bad either!
This oughta be FUN! We’re opening the show for Pat Travers! If you’ve never been to the Fox in Redwood City, here’s a little overview: Located in the heart of downtown Redwood City; the Fox Theatre is the premier live entertainment and rental venue in Silicon Valley. Downtown Redwood City has over 60 dining options within walking distance of the Fox for pre or post-event dining. The capacity of the Fox Theatre is 1,348 amongst its three floors. Club Fox capacity is 240 and is right next door to the Fox Theatre, allowing for endless possibilities for public or private events. We also have the ability to book the Courthouse Plaza directly across the street from the Fox, providing open air or tented event experiences for 500 to 1000.
This is a private event, but I figure I may as well post it – This way, if someone wants to book us on July 2nd, they’ll know they need to find an alternate date. So, if anyone’s interested, we’re booked in Southern California on July 2nd – but we could be wherever you want on the 1st, the 3rd etc… Contact firstname.lastname@example.org
